Huckleberry Funk is a high energy gritty R&B and Soul band based out of Indianapolis, Indiana
Huck Funk is a fun loving group of guys from very diverse backgrounds that believe Funk is less of a genre and more of an attitude and form of expression which is showcased in every show and move they make.
The band has traveled much of the eastern circuit playing venues ranging from Rockwood Music Hall, Reggie’s in Chicago, The Vogue and Hifi of Indianapolis, as well as other cities such as Philadelphia, New Orleans, Louisville, Nashville, and Boston.
Their genre bending sound comes with a diverse audience affording them opportunities to open for bands such as Khurangbin, Dumpstaphunk, as well as the Main Squeeze. Shortly before covid the guys were even slated to open up for Neo-Soul legend Bilal and hip-hop group Nappy Roots.
Any new or returning audience member can expect a somewhat familiar sound, influenced by artists like James Brown, Anderson .Paak, or Miguel, all while remaining refreshingly original to the core.
Huck Funk shows involve crowd participation, a tight sound, and power house-sultry vocals all focused on giving the best performance possible to each and every audience.
